Hospitality has always been my passion. I studied it in school, dreaming of one day opening a bed and breakfast. Life took me on a different path: raising four children, supporting my husband’s career as an airline pilot, and navigating health challenges- but that dream never left. Today, with our children grown, the dream comes to life here on our ranch.

My journey into quilting began unexpectedly while researching for a novel. That curiosity turned into a love for the craft, inspired by stories of women gathering to stitch, share, and connect. I’m still learning every day, but quilting has become a meaningful creative outlet and a way to bring people together.

The Patchwork Cottage grew from that passion- a cozy space where women can slow down, create, and enjoy the rhythm of crafting in community. At the Cottage you can soak in the peaceful views of our 120-acre ranch, enjoy the creek-side walking trail, hear the sounds of birds, lowing of cows, or catch a glimpse of Jeff flying one of his planes overhead.

Whether you’re here for a weekend of sewing, a quiet morning with coffee, or an evening under the stars, my hope is that you leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and connected. Guided by my faith and love for community, I hope every visitor leaves with a renewed spirit… and maybe a few new stitches in both their heart and their projects.
